Adult Programming Librarian  12/2014-present, East Brunswick Public Library, East Brunswick, NJ

Adult Programming and Community Engagement:

  • Planned, coordinated, and executed 76 diverse adult programs in 2023, including workshops, lectures, hands-on projects, and performances, attracting 2,664 attendees
  • Created and maintained sustainable programming series and partnerships to address diverse community-identified needs and interests (Option Green)
  • Chaired library-wide Programming Committee, overseeing major intergenerational initiatives such as New Jersey Makers Day, Summer Reading, and upcoming 2024 Welcoming Week and Day of Wellness
  • Develop and instruct hands-on and database information literacy programming

Program Innovation and Adaptation:

  • Pivoted to virtual programming in 2020 using Zoom, StreamYard, Facebook, YouTube, and OBS
  • Currently managing hybrid programming to ensure accessibility for patrons across the digital divide

Information Services and Technology:

  • Provide exemplary reference service at Information Desk, assisting patrons via phone, chat, and in-person
  • Offer expert assistance with virtual collections and devices, including OverDrive/Libby, Hoopla Digital, Kanopy, Mango Languages, and CreativeBug across various platforms (iOS/Android/PC/Mac)
  • Create instructional content for patrons, including tutorial videos for digital services using StreamYard and Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Audition, Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop), Microsoft Office, Canva Pro, and Google Drive
  • Experience with physical audio-visual equipment including projectors, sound systems (XLR and mixers), and assisted listening devices for Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
